On Thursday 23 March Danilith opened the doors of its brand-new show house in Wortegem-Petegem. To introduce this nearly zero-energy house to stakeholders and customers as well as to its own staff, the building company called in D’M&S. Our communication experts not only realised the brochures, radio commercials, press releases and other communication on the opening, but also organised the successful opening event.

Nearly zero-energy house of the future

The newest show house of building company Danilith is not just an ordinary show house. It’s a nearly zero-energy house (NZEH) that already fully meets all the standards in the area of heating, insulation, ventilation and home automation all newly constructed houses should respond to as of 2020. This hypermodern house demonstrates how we can live in an energy-efficient way. In addition, Danilith developed this house in its own workshop, just like all its other ‘Home made Homes’. Big news, so we used our major communication tools on a cross-media level.


Brochure and radio spot…

To inform the various target groups of the opening, we focused on offline and online communication. We made a brochure highlighting the show house, seen through the eyes of all suppliers. From front door to floor heating; this attractive reference book shows each aspect of the house on the basis of beautiful colour photos. Meanwhile, there were also radio campaigns on Studio Brussel, Contact Sud and Antipode that promoted the open days on 25 and 26 March.

… In the media mix with online

We also addressed potential visitors online. We posted a news article on the website of Danilith, sent e-mailings tailored to journalists, customers and prospects and set up a SEA and remarketing campaign with display adverts. In addition, we took care of the full organisation of the opening event itself.

Successful opening event

Our event managers organised the opening event on Thursday 23 March. Journalists, customers, prospects, partners, local prominent people and Danilith staff members came to visit the house in pre-première. Next to the show house we set up a luxurious tent, where inspiring lectures, drinks and a buffet were presented. We took on the entire organisation of the opening event and welcomed dozens of enthusiastic visitors. Thanks to the specific press campaigns D’M&S organised in the run-up to the event, all relevant press were also represented at this special evening.
