Arteco, founded in1998, is a joint venture between oil companies Chevron and Total. In Belgium, it produces coolants (mainly under private label) for the automotive industry. Since 2009, the European market leader also is exploring its options in Asia, the Pacific Region, the Middle-East and Africa.
