With the UNIQOAT, Agfa Materials, a division of Agfa-Gevaert, introduced a revolutionary backsheet for solar panels at the largest PV trade fair in China. We enforced the launch of this innovation with an applicable concept image and a mix of communication tools.

Launch concept & logo at chinese trade fair

The SNEC PV Power Expo took place in China in April. The biggest international trade fair for the PV industry was the moment for Agfa Materials to launch its new backsheet and to show its sunniest side. In order not to let the moment pass unnoticed, we developed a striking visual for the sector. We focused on the main advantage of UNIQOAT: its high reflectivity. We developed the concept (including logo) in several trade fair communication tools such as adverts, e-mailings, product leaflets and the stand’s setup. Everything had the same recognisable UNIQOAT style.

Reinforcing
corporate communication

Apart from the trade fair communication material, we also developed several corporate tools. This didn’t only concern UNIQOAT, but more generally dealt with the market position and reliability of Agfa Materials. The focus lay on Agfa’s innovating way of working and on the ecological aspect of renewable energy. Apart from a brochure, we created a corporate file in which documents can be compiled. By communicating about the new product as well as the innovative nature of the multinational itself, the target group got a coherent image of Agfa Materials as an all-round expert in polyester applications and, in particular, as the leading backsheet producer.
