The Belgian financial daily L’Echo celebrated its 130th anniversary on 17 November 2011. The French-language paper – whose Dutch-language stable mate is De Tijd – did so in the company of Prince Philippe and the biggest names in politics and finance. To ensure the guests were received in a sumptuous setting the Royal Depot at Tour & Taxis in Brussels was dressed up in all its finery.
