EVAL is a registered brand of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH). This thermoplastic synthetic resin has been manufactured and distributed by Kuraray since 1972. The Japanese chemical giant is a trendsetter and world leader in EVOH production technologies, and the group employs around 7000 people worldwide in locations such as Okayama (Japan) and Pasadena (Texas). The European production plant is located in Waaslandhaven in Antwerp (Zwijndrecht), from where EVAL is distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
